Live Ladies of Literature Presents “From the Outside Looking In” Monologue Show for Women

Detroit Authors, Adra Young and Tracie Christian have organized a charitable theatrical presentation in celebration of March as National Women’s Month. The Mocha Monologues- From the Outside looking In” Is a series of original monologues intended to demonstrate the restrictive barriers women set on themselves and each other by making rash judgments of one another’s plight before having the opportunity to know a person’s full story. It hopes to be a enjoyable, artistic wake up call to action for women of all cultures and ethnic backgrounds. The cost of the event is $15.00 and a portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Day House Women and Children’s Shelter in Detroit.
